  Just think about a single mom/dad working at a local McDonald's and only getting paid minimum wage to feed not only themselves, but four young children along with household expenses. It may sound like a lot of money for teenager but it's literally nothing for a single adult let alone an adult with children and expenses. Hence, the raising of minimum wage subject may be considered a very controversial debate. There are many reasons to why raising minimum wage can be beneficial to all. For example, this could help those that are not economically stable, help the economy, and most of all offer more job opportunities and there will be government regulations, regulatory laws and price stability most important of all, which is beneficial not only to consumers but also to producers. As minimum wage increases the economic stability increases as well, due to the fact that the employees are getting paid at a higher rate which means more item purchasing that equals more income/money into our economy. Since minimum wage increases, more people are more willing to get a job because more money is being offered that would then meet their living standards. Most importantly, raising minimum wage will help those that do occupy  a mediocre/ minimum wage job to sustain themselves a little more when it comes to house-held expenses or even personal expenses. There might be many more reasons to why raising minimum wage may be a negative towards our economy but I believe that raising minimum wage is actually something that can help us all in many aspects.
